That powerful performance is thanks to its Loncin G420 engine; an industrial-grade, four-stroke, air-cooled motor that benefits from economy optimising, noise limiting and emission minimising OHV technology, and which features a roomy, 6.5-litre fuel tank for extended runtimes, and therefore reduced downtime.

A handy electric starter makes achieving ignition a zero-effort process; a low-oil alert avoids engine damage by letting you know when a top-up is required.

The Bluebird SHL 1200 Chipper employs the manufacturer’s twin-blade Drumatic cutting system, which not only delivers superb productivity, but also ensures the woodchips produced are of uniform size. Branches up to a sizeable, 12cm in diameter are acceptable.

More than just a wood chipper, the Bluebird SHL 1200 also processes hedge cuttings, leaves, and other soft, green material, turning it into a fine, nutrient-rich mulch that will prove invaluable around the garden.
