Enter the pro-duty, Bluebird SHL 1000 Petrol Garden Chipper, with its sizeable, high-output, 196cc/6.5hp Loncin engine, aggressive two-bladed drum and rugged build-quality enabling it to quickly process massive volumes of material, and to keep on doing it, season after season.

The Loncin V200F engine on the Bluebird SHL 1000 Garden Chipper is supremely reliable, blending splash lubrication with a foam-cartridge air filter and a cast-iron cylinder bushing to ensure it will handle continuous heavy-duty use. The ignition is transistorised, so starting is ultra-dependable.

The Bluebird SHL 1000 is a hefty, reassuringly heavy machine, but it’s easy to shift from site to site, thanks to Bluebird’s provision of a transport handle and wide, large-diameter pneumatic tyres.

A wide hopper aperture makes in-feed fast and efficient; a belt drive means costly transmission damage is avoided in the event of an overload.

This model turns branches up to 3" in diameter into valuable woodchips, and reduces hedge clippings, grass cuttings and other green debris to a rich, fast-decomposing mulch.
