Description

Whilst the BCS 606 Power Scythe is the smallest of the range, it still retains all the excellent qualities that feature on all BCS machines. The all gear drive system efficiently transfers the engine power through to cutting head to create a powerful cutting action that will cut vegetation up to 25mm in diameter, time and again over many years.

The 606 is fitted with BCS's new state-of-the-art SmartSafe® hydraulic clutch that ensures the operator has instant control over the cut and drive speed of the machine. Simple controls and the ability to offset handlebars further enhance the operators control of the machine.

The exclusive SmartSafe® clutch from BCS features multiple steel discs in an oil bath, ensuring greater reliability and less maintenance compared to inverted conical clutches. Washers between the discs act as an automatic brake, instantly stopping the power take-off in emergencies while keeping the engine running for quick work resumption.

All Gear Drive System

One of the main reasons that BCS Power Scythes are so powerful is the all gear drive system that efficiently transfer the power from the engine to the wheels and implement drive shaft. Fully hardened, the gears are extremely durable and last for many years.

Hardened and Serrated Teeth

The cutting teeth of the BCS power scythe have been refined and perfected over many years. They are hardened and serrated for a powerful cutting action that will cut efficiently time and time again.

The BCS 606 has two forward and two reverse working speeds.
