The adjustable ridger will create ridges and furrows in previously cultivated ground.
Consisting of a "V" shaped body that penetrates the soil to break up the surface, the adjustable ridger will create furrows via the two adjustable mouldboards which are hinged to the body and so push the earth off to the side.
The adjustable ridger will create furrows up to 410mm (16") wide. It fits to the power unit via a toolbar and relies on the traction of the power unit to pull it through the ground. Because of this some drag can be created so the use of optional spade lug wheels and/or wheel weights is recommended.
For the BCS 728, 738, 740 and 780HY power units, see this Adjustable Ridger.
Also available is a trailed ridger, which fits into the back of the rotavator.
