This extremely tough stump grinder, manufactured by Caravaggi s.r.l., features a cast-iron gearbox with fully hardened gears and shafts supported by ball bearings in a full oil bath for longevity and efficient operation.
The ½" wide steel grinding disc measures 14" in diameter and is fitted with 8 heavy-duty replaceable carbide cutting teeth.
Locking one of the power unit's wheel brakes effectively enables the stump grinder to pivot from side to side over the stump, which is why the minimum power unit required is the BCS 740.
For easy manoeuvrability the stump grinder is fitted with a removable transport wheel.
