Ride On Flail

The R95 Ride-On Flail Mower is an incredibly durable machine capable of heavy-duty cutting and clearing work that no other ride on mower will tackle.  The powerful hydrostatic drive with locking differential allows the machine to be used in even the most difficult of terrain, and an optional bank "kit" (comprising an additional set of wheels and a tilting seat) allows the operator to cut banks up to 30o.

The fast working speed of this machine makes it perfect for local authorities, contractors and conservation organisations who have large overgrown areas that need to be kept under control.

Key to the success of the R95 is the vertical action of the free swinging flails.  These help the R95 outperform other rotary machines for a number of reasons.

Unlike a rotary blade, the cutting flails are unlikely to be damaged by hidden debris, ie bricks, metal, concrete slabs etc

• The R95 will produce a finer finish for any type of material it can cut compared to a rotary
• The mower will not miss material pushed over by the front of the cutting deck
• The vertical action of the flails will lift and cut even layed down matted grass

 

The R95 is fitted as standard with a roll bar, seat belt, front working light and top flashing light.
